Feasibility Studies
A feasibility study is a preliminary study undertaken to determine the feasibility of a project and to make a decision whether or not to proceed with the project.
DCSE’s studies provide a thorough analysis of the opportunity, including a closer look at all the possible roadblocks that may arise during execution. It helps agencies put their ideas on paper and assess whether those are realistic or not. The Study also helps understanding the overall enterprise goals and takes into consideration futuristic systems and policy changes. At a fraction of the cost of the entire project, DCSE can establish a roadmap to success. On GIS projects as well, DCSE always encourages agencies to perform a Needs Assessment and a Pilot (proof of concept).
Grant Research
A well-written grant proposal is the key to any grant application. A grant proposal should have all the necessary information about a proposed project. Grant making agencies depend on grant proposals whether to award the grant money or not. The best results in fund development come when the grant and solicitation strategies are closely intertwined with the Agency goals and program strategies.
Successful grant-writing involves advanced planning and preparation. It takes time to coordinate your planning and research, organize, write and package your proposal, submit your proposal, and follow-up. DCSE has experience helping Agencies in the past by researching Grants and writing proposals. DCSE strongly recommends covering the following criteria in all grant writing: project purpose, feasibility, community need, budget, applicant accountability, outcome quantification, and competence.
