Environmental research, planning and analyses have grown increasingly reliant on tools and applications in the past few decades. Geographic information systems (GIS), modeling and statistics can be utilized in a variety of scientific and professional endeavors, ranging from vegetation mapping and watershed ecology to pollution and transportation. DCSE has been working with Utilities on various Environmental and Transportation Projects.
DCSE's Environmental services range from helping agencies with NPDES and NOX compliances to conducting Solid Waste Management and Public Health Services Programs. DCSE has also worked on Water Quality Management Projects, thus helping the environment.
DCSE's Transportation Services include Prop-1B Compliance Consulting, performing Tree Inventory and Accident mapping in GIS. DCSE has also laid the foundation for a suite of workflow management tools, which include routing functionailities, as well.
DCSE has also developed a Recycling Data Management System, to fulfill the Solid Waste diversion goal for one of its client agencies
